Tijilere Malawi is a valued partner of Heart of Generous Works International, working closely to empower communities across Malawi. Founded by Grace Nyasulu, a Malawian born and raised in the country, Tijilere Malawi takes its name from the Tumbuka word “Tijilere”, which means “let’s be self-reliant”. The organisation focuses on sustainable development, education, and access to clean water for marginalised communities.
Through its partnership with Heart of Generous Works International, Tijilere Malawi contributes to shared goals of improving living conditions, promoting self-reliance, and creating opportunities for sustainable growth in Malawi’s most vulnerable communities.

— Participartory Development Initiatives
Participatory Development Initiatives (PDI) is a local NGO which works in Rural and Peri-Urban Development in Malawi. The organization was first registered as a Company Limited by Guarantee on 24th February 2011, Registration number 11150 and was later registered with the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, registration number TR/INC 7224 on 22nd November 2016. It is a member of the NGO Regulatory Authority (NGORA) of Malawi and the Council for Non-Governmental Organizations (CONGOMA). PDI is also a member of networking organizations like Malawi Scotland Partnerships and the Water and Environmental Sanitation Network.
