Participatory Development Initiatives (PDI) is a local partner which works in Rural and Peri-Urban Development in Malawi. The organization was first registered as a Company Limited by Guarantee on 24th February 2011, Registration number 11150 and was later registered with the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, registration number TR/INC 7224 on 22nd November 2016. It is a member of the NGO Regulatory Authority (NGORA) of Malawi and the Council for Non-Governmental Organizations (CONGOMA). PDI is also a member of networking organisations like Malawi Scotland Partnerships and the Water and Environmental Sanitation Network.
